The Swan Inn is a charming Grade II listed Georgian building constructed from traditional Cotswold Stone, established in 1842, it originally served as the Post Office for Moreton and the surrounding area until 1933, when operations relocated to New Street. At that point, The Swan Inn became a Public House and Coaching House, continuing to serve the local community and visiting travellers.
For more than 90 years, The Swan Inn has maintained its role as a public house in Moreton, supporting the town through initiatives such as the long-standing Tuesday Market. Situated at the corner of Bourton Road and The Fosse Way, our eight-bedroom establishment remains a welcoming destination for visitors to the Wolds, and surrounding areas.
Last year, The Swan Inn underwent ownership change, with Simon assuming the role of owner/landlord, or Gaffer, as he prefers, Simon is dedicated to implementing monumental improvements, restoring The Swan's reputation for excellence in all that it provides to its visiting guests.
